Manama, Bahrain: Zain Bahrain, the leading mobile broadband network in the Kingdom, announced the launch of Apple Pay, a free service to pay via smartphones and digital wallets on its mobile application and through self-service machines (SSMs) within its branches, in As part of its commitment to promoting mobile payments in Bahrain. The launch of Apple Pay for Zain Bahrain customers using Apple phones underscores the company's ongoing commitment to diversify the ways customers can interact with its digital channels in order to provide a seamless digital experience to its customers via mobile.
Apple Pay, provided by Apple Inc., is a secure and contactless payment method using the Zain Bahrain Mobile Application and Self-Service Machines (SSM). iPhone users who are Zain Bahrain customers can now download the Zain Mobile application on any iPhone, provided that the user has upgraded the operating system on his phone to iOS 15. The user can also create an account and activate the mobile payment function that allows direct use of Apple Pay from the app. Using any iPhone, Zain Bahrain customers can make payments using Apple Pay in stores and many other places. Every purchase made with Apple Pay is authenticated using Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode. To use Apple Pay in the store, the user needs to hold their iPhone in front of a contactless reader, after which they need to choose a payment method. In the event that the user chooses to use the Face ID feature, he will only need to double-press the side button on the iPhone, look at the screen to authenticate the payment, and then place the mobile phone near the reader. If you choose to use Touch ID, you can place your iPhone near the reader, place your finger on the Touch ID button, and wait for the payment to be authorized. To make an in-app purchase using your compatible iPhone or iPad, choose Apple Pay as the payment option in eligible apps and place your finger on the Touch ID button to send your payment.
