The Prime Minister reviews the efforts of the unified government complaints system during last February

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, a report by Dr. Tariq Al-Rifai, Director of the Unified Government Complaints System, affiliated to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, included a monitoring of efforts to respond to citizens' complaints during the month of February.

The Prime Minister praised the remarkable effort of those in charge of the unified government complaints system, who receive citizens' complaints in all fields, and are keen to speed up communication with officials in all ministries and government agencies in order to reach a successful solution to these complaints.

He thanked every official in the ministries and concerned authorities, who works to solve citizens' problems, and responds to their calls and complaints, as constant communication is one of the elements of the success of government work.

Dr. Tariq Al-Rifai, Director of the System, said that the unified government complaints system received and monitored 84,000 complaints, requests, and distress requests during the month of February 2022, through the various channels of citizens’ communication with the system.

And he added: 81.5 thousand complaints and requests were examined, studied and reviewed, of which 61.5 thousand complaints were directed to the competent authorities, and about 20 thousand complaints were filed; In accordance with the controls for examining and reviewing complaints before directing them to the competent authorities, the examination of about 2.5 thousand complaints and requests is being completed in preparation for taking the necessary action in this regard.

He pointed out that the work team is keen to quickly respond to citizens' complaints, in implementation of the Prime Minister's directives, to continue effective coordination and fruitful cooperation between the system and all ministries, governorates and various government agencies to examine citizens' complaints, take the necessary measures to remove their causes and achieve the best possible responses according to the nature of each of them.
