وقائع Family crime اهتم بها بهجت أبو ضيف في “اليوم السابع”: لقي موظف مصرعه بعدما ألقى بنفسه من شرفة عقار في الوراق عقب تعديه على زوجته ونجليه بسلاح أبيض، وتم نقل المتوفى إلى مستشفى إمبابة العام، بينما جرى نقل المصابين إلى مستشفى آخرى، وتحرر محضر بالواقعة. تلقت غرف عملية النجدة، بلاغا بوصول معلمة 34 سنة، للمستشفى مصابة بطعنة شبه نافذة في الصدر، وبصحبتها ابناها مصابان بطعنات وكسور، حيث أسفرت التحريات عن أن الزوج وراء ارتكاب الواقعة، وانتقل رجال المباحث إلى المكان لكشف ملابسات الواقعة، وتبين أن وراء الحادث زوج المجني عليها، وعقب ارتكابه الواقعة قفز من شرفة العقار وتوفي ونقل إلى المشرحة، في ما تم نقل زوجته ونجليه المصابين إلى المستشفى لتلقي الرعاية الصحية. ونصت الفقرة الثانية من المادة 2344 من قانون العقوبات على أنه “يحكم على فاعل هذه الجناية (أي جناية القتل العمد) بالإعدام إذا تقدمتها أو اقترنت بها أو تلتها جناية أخرى”. وأوضحت أن هذا الظرف المشدد يفترض أن الجاني قد ارتكب، إلى جانب جناية القتل العمدي، جناية أخرى وذلك خلال فترة زمنية قصيرة، ما يعني أن هناك تعدداً في الجرائم مع توافر صلة زمنية بينها.
