Realme is collaborating with world-renowned industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa once again to create the first bio-based polymeric industrial design, drawing on the sustainable concept of paper art. After twelve months of research with 63 prototypes, the final variations of the Realme GT 2 Pro combine state-of-the-art craftsmanship with a 0.1mm laser engraving process.

In keeping with the design philosophy of sustainability, the Realme GT 2 Pro's back cover is made from a bio-based copolymer from recycled products from SABIC, an ISCC+ certified material. Compared to alternatives based on fossil fuels, this material can offer similar performance.

At the same time, it provides a CO2 reduction of 2 kg per kg of bio-based copolymer from recycled products. Furthermore, SABIC's bio-based sources are derived from biomass waste or waste that does not cross the food chain, such as crude oil and hydrotreated vegetable oils.
