Japanese watchmaking company, Casio, intends to launch its first smart watches in the beginning of 2016
Casio, the famous Japanese digital watchmaking company, has taken a giant leap towards the future with the official announcement of its intention to launch the first smart watch produced early next year.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Casio hopes that by its smart watch over the Apple watch, and other smart watches launched by other major technical companies, taking advantage of its "ancient" history in the field of digital watches that provide users "comfort and durability".
Casio has previously launched digital hours with some smart features, such as the management of tables and heartbeat control, but it did not receive the required popularity.
