How to find your phone even if it is silent?

Maybe you were somewhere and had to put your phone on silent so as not to disturb you with the many tones of receiving social media messages or the rings of unnecessary calls, then you got busy with something and forgot where you put your phone, and you remembered that it is useless to call it from another phone because you will not hear it ringing What do you do in this case?

Finding your silent phone is not an impossible task, and depending on the quality of your phone you can follow one of the following two ways to find it:

If your phone is an Android To find your phone, it must first meet the following conditions: - It must be on. - You have an active Google account. - The phone is connected to the Internet, whether via Wi-Fi or mobile data. - The location feature Geo-enabled. - Find My Device is enabled (the latter can be accessed by going to “Settings” then “Security and location” then “Find my device” and select “Remotely locate this device”).

On some Samsung phones, this option is called "Google Location Service", and it allows Google's location service to provide more accurate information about your device's location.

How to locate your silent phone If you meet the above conditions, head to www.google.com/android/find and sign in with your Gmail email account.

Then choose the device you want to find (in case you use more than one).

The last step is to select "play sound", and the phone will start ringing for five minutes even if it is on silent mode.

If your phone is an iPhone, Apple also allows users to play audio on their phones through the “Find my iPhone” option available in the iCloud service, by following these steps:

Go to icloud.com/find and log in. Click the “Search” button. Select your iPhone under the “All devices” list. Select “Play Audio.”
