A number of graduate students in the Department of Information Sciences at the College of Life Sciences at Kuwait University submitted theses and master’s projects in different tracks within the computer information science and information technology programs available by the department during the first semester 2021-2022. The theses and projects dealt with various technological topics in information security and information development. And the student Fatima Dashti presented Her project is on the impact of social networking sites on learning English, while student Mohsen Al-Shamali touched on the topic of strengthening the control system for network access, and the project on security challenges and threat modeling for smart home systems based on the Internet of Things presented by the student Abdullah bin Nakhi, as well as a customer relationship management project that focuses on The service in Kuwait was provided by the student Youssef Al-Baghli The student, Ibtisam Al-Azmi, presented the smart home doctor’s advisor project for children, and the student Reem Al-Jeran presented the project of algorithms for identifying blood vessels through medical imaging, as well as the project of algorithms for detecting the edges of the brain tumor presented by the student Laila Al-Sanawi, and the project for evaluating websites related to breast cancer available to speakers of the language English: Experimental investigation into popularity, availability, accessibility, readability and quality by Zahra Jassim.
