“Audi Bahrain” launches the “Audi Sport” showroom concept during the test drive at the Bahrain Circuit Comments
Audi Bahrain announced the launch of the 'Audi Sport' showroom concept during a special test drive event for its high performance models at the Bahrain International Circuit. Over the course of three days, the event brought together more than 160 guests from the press and media community to test some of the most powerful Audi models in an exciting program of circuit driving activities. In addition to driving the Audi R8 V10 plus, Audi RS 6 Avant performance and RS 7 Sportback performance, participants will also have the opportunity to drive the Audi RS Q3, the first RS model in the Q-segment, which will make its local debut during the event.
On this occasion, Gitan Jessen, Agency Director of the Audi Center in Bahrain, said: “Audi's rich sports car heritage influences every car we produce, but its time-honored traits are most evident at the heart of the R and RS models. We aim to give participants the opportunity to experience the true potential. Audi sports models in the place where they were born and where they belong, which is the racetrack.”
He added, “It is a real privilege to be able to do this on the same circuit as our WEC team for the 6-hour FIA WEC Endurance Race Tour that will take place in Bahrain at the end of this month. We are sure this is the perfect way to celebrate. by appointing us as the official agency of the Audi Sport brand.”
During the event, each attendee participated in several activities on the track that lasted for half a day, which saw their driving skills tested through the Le Mans Challenge, autocross activities, and other track handling exercises.
The Audi Bahrain showroom in Sitra now includes a special booth for the Audi Sport brand, which will be staffed by a group of employees specialized in the exclusive R and RS models. This booth has been specifically designed to meet the needs of fast and sports car enthusiasts. It also displays a range of Audi Sport promotional merchandise, such as accessories and clothing.

Its 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine produces 367 horsepower, while its fuel consumption is 4.4 liters per 100 kilometers.
