The FIFA football game series is one of the hottest games on all platforms. It is expected that the new version will carry a number of new features and updates with an improved gaming experience, of course, so what is new in FIFA 22? And what is expected of them?

EA has officially revealed the official launch date of the game, to be on October 1, within pre-booking, while more details will be revealed at EA's Play Live 2021 event on July 22.

Information and leaks about FIFA 22

The first thing we learned about the new game is the player chosen for the cover photo. The company has chosen France star Kylian Mbappe as the cover star for the second year in a row.

Leaks about FIFA 22 are few, and no images from the game have appeared yet. However, we knew from many leaks that the game will provide improvements, including “heat maps”, in contrast to the points method used in the current versions.

The heat maps will be very similar to what we experience in real matches, and real goals will be highlighted during gameplay.

The leaks included information about changing the passing mechanic between players. This may come with an undesirable adverse effect in the event that the gaming experience differs greatly from what the players are used to.

New methods of evasive action have been added with improvements to the mechanism of defense lines, with significant improvements to graphics, especially with the presence of the current generation PS5 and Xbox Series S | X.

So far, it is not known whether the game will introduce the VAR system into the gameplay or not. And some sources discussed the fact that the game will include a female commentator on the matches for the first time, which is “Alex Scott”.

Copy and prices of FIFA 22

The company has officially announced pricing and availability details, and the game will come for the last generation PS4 and Xbox One devices at $60 as usual.

On the other hand, the Ultimate Edition will be available for last generation devices at $100! It is the version that will include the free upgrade for current generation devices, unlike the $60 version.

This Ultimate Edition will include the old and new generation versions, as mentioned above. Plus four days early access before launch and premium items within the FUT 21 gameplay.

As for the owners of the current generation, they will be able to purchase the game at a price of 70 USD. And it appears to us that the owners of the old generation will not be able to upgrade for free to the new generation, since the Ultimate Edition version comes at such an exorbitant price.
