A cooperation protocol between Banque Misr and “Etisalat” to implement integration works with the digital Egypt platform
Banque Misr signed a cooperation protocol with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, and Mohamed El-Etreby, Chairman of Banque Misr's Board of Directors.
The protocol was signed by Akef Al-Maghraby, Vice Chairman of Banque Misr, and Khaled Al-Attar, Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology, in the presence of Ihab Dorra, Head of the Banking Branches and Retail Sector, and a group of leaders of Banque Misr and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
The signing of the protocol comes within the framework of the Egyptian state’s policy towards building an Egyptian society that deals digitally in all aspects of life, promoting the development of information and communication technology infrastructure, and improving digital services in government agencies.
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology launched the digital Egypt platform to transform government services into fast and highly efficient digital services that facilitate access to government services of all kinds in 2020, after years of careful preparation of the information infrastructure and permanent work to follow the international level of services electronically through digital transformation, which seeks to collect Methods of providing digital services under a unified application to serve the citizen easily and conveniently; Such as civil status services, social insurance, cases, real estate taxes, courts, commercial registry, licenses, real estate, vehicles, documentation and catering.

The protocol includes the link between the bank and the digital Egypt platform, allowing Banque Misr customers to obtain and benefit from all the services of the digital Egypt platform through the Banque Misr creating a link on the bank’s mobile application and online banking services to redirect the customer to the digital Egypt portal to use all its announced services. In addition to facilitating the entry of Banque Misr customers registered on the Misr digital platform, to the mobile application and online banking services of Banque Misr, by creating a digital Misr platform, a link on the main page of the platform to redirect the client to the mobile application and internet banking of Banque Misr. .
